MICROSOFT SOFTWARE PR STRATEGIES IN 90S IN TERMS OF TRADITIONAL MARKETING

Modern PR strategies are primarily focused on interacting with the consumer online, i.e. mainly through content advertising in social networks, instant messengers, etc. However, how effective can traditional marketing techniques be if done right? With the example of Microsoft's advertising solutions, which is one of the largest and most famous multinational proprietary software companies and which is also the developer of the most used desktop operating system now, we will take a look at some traditional marketing techniques used in the largest and most successful PR campaign in the history of software.
