The paper presents the relevance of the application of Smart Home technology. The components of the system are marked and the principle of operation is described. The types of systems are identified according to the principle of communication of devices in them. The study was to find out how much energy can be saved using Smart Home technology. It was determined the value of energy saved can reach 30-40%. Overall, smart devices combined with the use of alternative energy allow to manage resources rationally, thereby contributing to the preservation of the environment.
