ON THE SOCIOLOGIST'S PROFESSIONAL CODE: AN ETHICAL ASPECT

The social significance of sociology and the field of social researches are increasing nowadays. That's why it is so important to define professional ethic requirements to the activity of sociologist. Along with common ethic requirements (conscientiousness, personal responsibility, devotion to truth) we should note the peculiarity of moral requirements to the activity of sociologist. The basis of professional activity of sociologist is professional competency, correction, necessity of exact and reliable information, impossibility of arbitrary interpretation of obtained results. Besides a sociologist should avoid the influence of personal interests and outward factors on the research.
