This article considers anisotropic composite materials which are modern and progressive materials widely used in different spheres of engineering. These materials have some important peculiarities of their physical and mechanical properties (for example, anisotropy of strength and elasticity) which should be taken into account in the course of designing for constructive elements made of anisotropic composites. It is recommended to use some of numerous failure phenomenological criteria for calculations constructive elements made of these materials under the combined stresses.
