Semantic function of the conjunction "no" (but) in constractions of the different types

A semantic-syntactic model is examined which explains the arising of compound sentences with adversativ relations. The conjunction «no» (but) takes a decisive part in the sentences. A semantic function of the conjunction is thoroughly analyzed in monopredicative constructions with co-ordinate parts of a sentence.
