The choice of trade marks becomes a new kind of professional occupation whose attributes are to set up a special field of knowledge (naming) and specialized business structures (naming agencies) on the one hand. The national drug regulatory authorities consider a rational choice of a trade mark to be an element of the general drug quality, effectiveness and safety evaluation system whose attributes are to establish respective requirements (good naming practice) and specialized expert divisions.
