INDUCED ASTIGMATISM AFTER TUNNEL EXTRA CAPSULAR EXTRACTION OF CATARACT AND FACOEMULSIFICATION

In connection with the tendency of ageing of the population, over the last years the number of extractions of cataracts has twice increased. Therefore it’s necessary to develop and introduction to practice optimum methods of surgery of a crystalline lens. During research it has been revealed that for surgery of small cuts at extractions of cataracts it is characteristic low induced astigmatism or its absence that allows considering this method rather perspective and deserving wide application.
