THEORETICAL CALCULATION OF THE COST OF OPERATING A CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE SYSTEM IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The demand for energy produced by burning fossil fuels is growing rapidly with the development of technology. At the same time, greenhouse gas emissions are increasing, accelerating global climate change. Our work examines the modern technology of carbon dioxide capture and storage, aimed at minimizing greenhouse gas emissions in fuel and energy production cycles. As a result of the work done, a theoretical assessment of the economic costs of implementing this technology was made.
