THE PLACEMENT OF CARBON DIOXIDE IN ROCK FORMATIONS

This article is devoted to the problem of the placement of carbon dioxide in rock formations. Carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere is one of the global problems of the present. At the moment, this is a fairly new and promising technology, which is part of CCUS technology. This article discusses the main characteristics of existing projects for the placement of carbon dioxide in rock formations.
