METHODS OF DESULFURIZATION OF NATURAL HYDROCARBON RAW MATERIALS (REVIEW)

The article is devoted to the problem of desulfurization of natural hydrocarbon raw materials. Methods of sulfur removal from oil and gas are considered, including solvent extraction, thermal desulfurization, oxidative desulfurization, atmospheric desulfurization of sulfur-containing and hydrocarbon gases, hydro desulfurization, desulfurization with additives, microbiological desulfurization, and ion exchange desulfurization. Each method is described in terms of efficiency and process characteristics.
