ENVIRONMENTAL AND RADIATION ASPECTS OF THE CHERNOBYL ACCIDENT

This article is devoted to the problem of the impact of the first months after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from the point of view of radiation and environmental aspects. Historical aspects of ensuring radiation safety of the population of the affected territories are also considered.
