Solution of an inverse problem of the dynamics of a particle

The three-dimensional inverse problem of particle dynamics is studied here. The potential U and the corresponding energy h are determined by the given family of possible trajectories. The classification of the solutions due to the geometry of the given family is obtained. © 1988 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
