COMPARISON OF ANTHROPOGENIC IMPACT ON TAIGA LANDSCAPES IN EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA

This paper presents a comparative analysis of the impact of human activity on the taiga landscapes of North America and Europe, utilising data from multitemporal satellite images. It is thus evident that more stringent regulation of the utilisation of landscape elements is imperative, as is the formulation of the most prudent strategies for the exploitation of taiga resources.
