KARST LANDSCAPES OF THE URALS

This research attempts to review the existing materials on the concept of karst and karst landscapes by analyzing its nature. The danger of karst processes is obvious and widespread through all the Urals territory. It is necessarily important to examine the topic and to assess the engineering and geological conditions of construction in areas of karst development. That could prevent danger consequences of karst processes and preserve people and infrastructure.
