In pedagogy, the concept of “motivation” is interpreted in different ways. Motivation is an impulse to action, a dynamic process of the physiological and psychological plan, which controls a person's behavior, determines his direction, organization, activity and stability; the ability of a person to actively satisfy his needs. Learning motivation is a complex and systemic education consisting of cognitive and social teaching motivations. The main psycho-pedagogical conditions for the training of teaching motivation are as follows: atmosphere of comfort and freedom, arouse the student's interest, encourage the desire to use the language in a practical way, provoke the need to learn, thus bringing him closer to the successful mastery of the subject; to affect the student's personality, in order to manifest emotions and feelings in the learning process, take into account their needs, encourage the development of their cognitive, speech and creative skills; activate the student, organize interaction with other participants in the educational process, make him feel the main actor in the educational process; organize learning activities so that the student is the central figure and the teacher has a secondary role. It is important that the student can understand that the learning process is related to his personality and interests, regardless of the techniques and means chosen by the teacher; to create situations in which the student learns to work independently in the language, while the teacher should take into account his age, physical, intellectual and emotional abilities, thus ensuring a differentiated and individualized learning approach; to organize the convenient choice of Moderna methods for the development of motivation of educational activity in the youngest schoolchildren in foreign language classes.
