ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ ТЕХНОЛОГИИ BIM В ПРОЦЕССЕ СТРОИТЕЛЬСТВА АЭРОПОРТА ЯНЬЧЭН НАНЬЯНГ

The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in construction can improve design accuracy, visualize construction details, optimize construction schemes, and enhance collaboration among professionals. The Yancheng Nanyang Airport Terminal 2 project is presented as a case study due to its large steel roof structure span, complex mechanical and electrical pipeline (MEP) engineering, and construction organization challenges. The project's intricate design and construction challenges make it a suitable background for the application of BIM technology. The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of BIM technology in large-scale construction projects, specifically in the areas of structural engineering, steel construction, and MEP engineering. BIM technology digitally represents the physical and functional characteristics of a facility, providing a reliable knowledge resource for decision-making. BIM technology is applied in various aspects of the construction process, including plane layout, design of irregular steel components, visual demonstration of the construction process, pipeline drawings, and quality and safety management. The results demonstrate that BIM technology offers effective guidance and visualization for the construction process, aiding in the creation of detailed designs, pipeline diagrams, and recursive construction drawings. The use of BIM technology in the construction of Yancheng Nanyang Airport Terminal 2 offers valuable insights into its potential benefits for large-scale construction projects. This experience will serve as a useful reference for future applications of BIM technology in airport terminal construction.
