Agricultural Biodiversity in the Fertile Crescent: Insights from Ancient DNA

The article provides a general overview of the history of agricultural biodiversity in the Fertile Crescent region in the context of considering DNA changes and its transformations that have affected agriculture and agronomy in general. Special attention is paid to the causes and peculiarities of this region, in connection with which there have been changes in the gene pool of both livestock and plant crops.

В статье предлагается общий обзор истории сельскохозяйственного биоразнообразия региона Плодородного Полумесяца в контексте рассмотрения изменения ДНК и его преобразований, повлиявших на сельское хозяйство и агрономию в целом. Особое внимание выделяется причинам и особенностям данного региона, в связи с которыми произошли изменения в генофонде как домашнего скота, так и растительных культур.
