The study explores the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) as a countermeasure to Western sanctions and highlights its significance as a political tool advocating for a multipolar world order. It uses a comprehensive analytical approach, including case studies and geopolitical analysis, to examine the INSTC's potential to circumvent geopolitical hurdles and offer an alternative to traditional Western-dominated trade routes. Challenges such as political risks, economic competition, and infrastructural disparities are analyzed, emphasizing the need for policy reforms, infrastructure modernization, and international cooperation. Comparatively, the INSTC's unique geopolitical and economic advantages, such as facilitating trade for sanctioned countries and fostering regional integration, are highlighted. The study concludes that the INSTC transcends its economic utility and serves as a pivotal political instrument for reconfiguring regional power dynamics and promoting a more balanced global power structure.
