THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM OF WASTE AND METHODS OF DISPOSAL

Russian enterprises produce a huge amount of waste every year; only 3% of the waste is subjected to industrial processing. The remainder of waste is transported to dumps and landfills for burial becoming the main source of pollution. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the magnitude of the environmental problems of waste disposal.
