The article analyzes the practice of implementing the Bolognese declarations into the process of education and training in the sphere of communications, assessing positive and negative consequences of this practice for the development of Russian higher education. Timely account of Russian specifics and professional requirements of advertising and PR allow to minimize the risks of rigid standardization and intellectual colonization of Russian education.
