This article describes differences between the five types of plant communities in India (coniferous mountain alpine, sub-tropical broad-leaved hill, tropical wet ever-greens, tropical moist deciduous, tropical dry deciduous) in carbon capture, the causes of these differences and mechanism of carbon absorbing.
