TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES WITH MUSICAL EXERCISES AS AN INTERACTIVE AND INTEGRATED LEARNING PROCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the strength and the importance of various activities with songs, lyrics and music in keening core skills (vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking) of nonlinguistic university students and enhancing the foreign language knowledge with integrated learning process. The scientific novelty of the research work is to illustrate wide range of options of implementing interactive activities with songs and lyrics within the English classes for enhancing students' core and soft skills through integrated process. Many people are into listening to various songs and combining this hobby with learning will undoubtedly show its productivity. Particularly, professionally oriented teaching of foreign language requires much effort and courage. As a consequence, integrated process of learning with interactive tasks within the framework of English classes are vital in educational system of higher education. The results of examinations and analyses depicted the fact that diverse methods, techniques and teaching strategies of English have been revealed so far. Thus, interactive activities and games modified with songs and their lyrics are under special attention, as far as they are full of essential materials which would inevitably boost learners' knowledge and show the effectiveness of such teaching tools. The testing of the proposed teaching structure was carried out on the basis of NUST MISIS university as part of the 2nd year of a bachelor's degree in technical spheres.
