Коннотативные особенности сторон света в китайской и русской лингвокультурах

Статья посвящена сравнительному анализу коннотативных особенностей сторон света в китайской и русской лингвокультурах на материале фразеологии. Цель - определить культурные коннотации, которые номинации сторон света приобрели в процессе формирования мировоззрения двух народов. В статье проводится лексический анализ фразеологических единиц, включающих номинации сторон света. Устанавливается частотность употребления каждой конкретной стороны, пар смежных сторон, сравнение символики сторон света в двух лингвокультурах.

The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the connotative features of the cardinal directions in Chinese and Russian linguistic cultures based on phraseology. The aim is to identify the cultural connotations that the nominations of the cardinal directions have acquired in the process of forming the worldview of the two peoples. The article provides a lexical analysis of phraseological units, including the nominations of the cardinal directions. The frequency of use of each specific side, pairs of adjacent sides, and a comparison of the symbolism of the cardinal directions in two linguistic cultures are established.
