SOLID DISPERSION AS A TECHNIQUE FOR ENHANCING DRUG SOLUBILITY

In this article solid dispersions are discussed as a good technique for improving drugs solubility with the intention of improving their bioavailability. The concept of solid dispersions, classification and mechanism of enhancing drug dissolution rate are highlighted. Also, the drug-carrier interactions are explained.
