What Does the Hubble Flow Look Like in an Anisotropic Universe?

Abstract: Using the formulae for light propagation, redshift, and photometric distance in an anisotropic flat universe of Bianchi type I, we construct a picture of the Hubble flow as would be observed by a hypothetical observer in an anisotropic universe. This algorithm, with slight modification, can be used for more complex visualizations of the sky from the perspective of an observer situated in a strong gravitational field. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
