Development of a process algorithm for providing specialized neurosurgical care to patients with spinal cord injury in a multidisciplinary hospital

Methods of process management as elements of informatization and digitalization are now increasingly being introduced into the management system of medical organizations. The advantage of process management is its continuity due to the combination and interaction of individual processes in the general information system. The peculiarity of the health care system is its extension and versatility, leading to specific difficulties in solving the problems of ensuring the quality and safety of medical activities and requiring the availability of a scientifically based methodology of process management and methods adapted to the features of Russian medical organizations. Theoretical and methodological aspects of process management are widely described in domestic and foreign studies. However, in the scientific literature, there are no studies on organizing the provision of certain types of medical care, particularly neurosurgery.
