Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a critical component of intercultural communication, functioning not only as a technological facilitator but also as an agent shaping new forms of global interaction. This article explores the main technological and linguistic mechanisms through which AI impacts intercultural dialogue, focusing on translation services, chatbots, educational platforms, and sentiment analysis systems. Drawing on methods from communication studies, linguistics, and AI ethics, the study identifies key opportunities and challenges associated with the integration of AI into intercultural contexts. Special emphasis is placed on issues of algorithmic bias, cultural adaptation, and emotional nuance transmission. The research highlights that while AI significantly enhances the accessibility and efficiency of intercultural communication, it simultaneously raises critical questions regarding cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility, and the irreplaceable role of human mediation.
