IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON THE ICT SECTOR: KEY MOMENTS

The purpose of this article is to identify the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global ICT sector. The analysis of the facts and trends was carried out in the following areas: consumers behavior, employment in ICT sector, economic metrics of ICT companies, in period 2019-2021. It was possible to identify not just the absence of a negative impact of the pandemic on the ICT sector, but also to confirms the fact of an increase in demand for products and services of ICT companies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
