Stereotypes definitely play a huge role in Cross-Cultural communication. This article examines the definition of the term “stereotype” and its characteristics, as well as attitudes towards stereotypes and their role in Cross-Cultural communication. The analysis will reveal that some people believe that stereotypes in different cultures have a positive impact on communication between each other, helping to spread information about a particular people, and some believe that stereotypes create problems in Cross-Cultural communication, as they focus people's attention on simplified ideas about a particular culture.
