This article reviews a study comparing e-collars and positive reinforcement methods for stopping chasing behavior in dogs. E-collars were highly effective, while positive reinforcement showed limited success. The findings highlight that welfare depends more on training context than tools. Future research should explore physiological and behavioral impacts to refine humane, effective training practices.
