The problem of modern architecture is the need for constant improvement and search for new approaches in this area. It must meet modern requirements and worldview. In this way, architecture reflects human needs, values and technical capabilities of the era. In connection with the developing technical progress is especially actual topic of this paper, which is written on the basis of three articles, it includes architectural materials and technologies. This article will help to understand architecture, which nowadays is undergoing a profound transformation. This paper presented current trends in architectural materials and advanced developments. Among the leading trends is worth highlighting the ambition for sustainable development. Virtual reality technology and technologies for creating plate lattice with customizable properties are also finding their application. In this context, materials that are just beginning or are already being used in construction practice are considered. This paper can assist architects, designers and construction professionals to explore the latest materials and technologies. Based on the trends and developments, this article will also help to understand what changes are expected in the approach to building creation and architecture.
