Modulator of laser radiation

A new mechanical modulator of laser radiation is proposed. The working principle is based on the specific diffraction of coherent radiation by a deep reflection grating with rectangular profile. The modulator can be used in various wavelength ranges. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
