The object of research is high-quality fine-grained concrete with additives from crushed quartz sandstone screenings. The work has compiled a matrix for planning a two-factor, three-level experiment on the influence of the content of additives from crushed quartz sandstone screenings and a plasticizing additive on the compressive strength of fine-grained concrete and the workability of the mixture cone. It has been established that with consumption of mineral filler from crushed quartz sandstone screenings of 16-24% and plasticizer of 0.7-0.74%, the spread of the mini-cone is in the range of 110-120mm, while the strength at the age of 28 days increases to maximum values. Optimal indicators for achieving maximum strength, the required workability of the mixture, and formability as important factors in the production of fine-grained concrete: the consumption of finely ground crushed quartz sandstone screenings is 16-24% by weight of the binder; the amount of plasticizer added is 0.7-0.74% by weight of the binder, cement consumption is 530-560kg/m3. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
