A small rapid donor blood cooler

This article presents the results of the development of a portable rapid cooler for donor blood, which can be used in mobile conditions and ensures the quality and clinical effectiveness of prepared transfusion media. The device is intended for equipping and re-equipping blood transfusion stations and departments, as well as therapeutic/prophylactic and other medical institutions. The use of a rapid cooler for donor blood supports increased safety of blood transfusions and prevention of the development of post-transfusion reactions and complications. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
