The Role of Intellectual Property in Shaping LegalTech and LegalAI Businesses in the Age of Industry 4.0

The article deals with the correlation of intellectual property law norms and modern technologies used in legal practice and terminologically designated as LegalAI and LegalTech. The article assesses the formation and development of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in the context of creating objective prerequisites for the protection of IP objects used in LegalTech. Options for protection and defense of copyright, related rights, industrial property rights and trade secrets using LegalTech tools and methods are considered. Special attention is paid to the problems of changes that occur in the sphere of use and commercialization of IP objects in the era of Industry 4.0.
