Legal Governance of Business in the Development of Space Programs Using Artificial Intelligence Technologies

Nowadays innovative technologies, including legal technologies, are rapidly evolving and determined to solve not only narrowly specified problems, but a wider range of issues, which require full interaction of law, technologies, business and the general public, so to meet the new challenges of the modern world. The use of artificial intelligence technologies in this vein is also rapidly expanding, as is the need for new digital legal solutions. In this regard space law is not left behind. Current innovations directly related to activities in outer space require timely legal solutions due to the specific nature of outer space, the expanding range of actors involved in such activity, and the use of new technologies. In this context, issues concerning the use of LegalTech and LegalAI become particularly relevant in the framework of activity beyond the Earth. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
