Flexibility of the University’s Digital Inclusion Strategy in a Globalizing World Based on Its Competitiveness

This article elaborates on the theoretical and practical aspects of the formation of a flexible strategy for a university’s digital inclusion in a globalising world and the growth of the level of competition in the market of higher education services. The methodological framework of the article is based on the combination of theoretical aspects and practical provisions of pedagogical and technical sciences, social sciences, management of educational services, etc. The concept of e-inclusion, is considered from the application of digital technologies to ensure the inclusiveness of higher education. The methodological apparatus of this article is comprised of the methods of analysis, synthesis, modelling, and observation. This study outlines the important function of universities in the context of global processes and expansion of the concept of inclusion, characterises the parameters of the influence of digital technologies on inclusion in the environment of higher education, discloses the essence and specifics of the concept of e-inclusion in universities, performs a critical assessment of the impact of digital technologies on the quality of higher education and the level of inclusion, offers a structure and complex description of the model of the university’s digital inclusion, and describes the key advantages that form due to the combination of the elements of educational content, digital technologies, and pedagogy, which are set onto the principles of inclusion in higher education. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
