ULTRASONIC METHODS FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF ENDOMETRIAL RECEPTIVITY; УЛЬТРАЗВУКОВЫЕ МЕТОДЫ ДИАГНОСТИКИ РЕЦЕПТИВНОСТИ ЭНДОМЕТРИЯ

Endometrial receptivity is a periodically limited hormonally dependent condition in which the endometrium reaches the necessary physiological and morphological maturity for embryo implantation. Given the complex demographic situation knowledge of human reproduction, including a comprehensive study of the receptivity issue, is in high demand. Ultrasound diagnostics is becoming increasingly important in the endometrium study. Thus, from simply measuring the thickness of the endometrium, the focus has shifted to studies of the functional states and perception of the uterus and its appendages as an interrelated hormonal-epithelial-muscular-vascular mechanism. The more subtleties in understanding the state of the reproductive system an ultrasound examination can provide, the more information a reproductive specialist will have received by using a non-invasive, relatively inexpensive method. High quality research is ensured by the use of advanced ultrasound techniques and technologies, such as 3D echography, 3D Doppler, elastography and the use of ultrasound contrast agents. In our review, we tried to conduct a multifactorial analysis of the uterus condition, on the complex interrelation of which the receptivity of the endometrium depends. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
