A NOTE ON THE SECOND ORDER OF ACCURACY DIFFERENCE SCHEME FOR THE ELLIPTIC-TELEGRAPH IDENTIFICATION PROBLEM WITH DIRICHLET BOUNDARY CONDITION

In the present paper, the second-order of accuracy difference scheme (DS) for the approximate solution of a source identification problem (SIP) for the multidimensional elliptic-telegraph equations is constructed. Theorem on stability estimates for the solution of this DS and second-order difference derivatives is presented. Numerical results are given for the solutions of the one-dimensional SIP for the elliptic-telegraph equation. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
