The article is devoted to the poetic work of the Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet Ran (1902-1963) which reflects the linguistic and cultural specifics of perception and understanding of the winter nature of Russia. The article analyzes the lexical and semantic aspect of the representations of the Russian winter, describes its reflection from the standpoint of Turkish linguoculture. It is relevant to analyze those linguistic and cultural factors that have a decisive influence on the understanding of foreign cultural realities. The research material consists of poems written by the poet during his stay in the USSR in the 1921-30's and his emigration to the USSR in the 1951-63's. The result of the analysis is the fullness of the lexical and semantic field of the author's poetic texts, which constructs the image of the winter phenomena of Russian nature in the poetic picture of the world of the Turkish poet. The national-cultural specificity of reflection and reflection in the poetic work of Nazim Hikmet Ran covers both the specific realities of the country and natural phenomena, architecture and clothing, history and toponymy.
