ПОЛОЖЕНИЕ ХРИСТИАН В ЕГИПТЕ ЭПОХИ ФАТИМИДОВ (X-XII ВВ.)

Статья посвящена социальному и правовому статусу христианского населения в Фатимидском Египте. Произведена попытка дать периодизацию данной эпохи с точки зрения положения христиан.

THE STATUS OF CHRISTIANS WITHIN THE FATIMID EGYPT (10-12 CENTURIES)

The article concerns social and jural status of Christian population within the Fatimid Egypt. The author also makes an attempt to give a periodization of this historical stage from the point of view of Christian`s status. A special attention is directed to the reigning era of al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah and his tough islamization policies, which struck harshly against the Christian`s positions in Egypt and fundamentally reshaped a confessional map of the country.
