Fighting techniques of potato late blight in Burundi

Potato blight or late bright (Phytophthora infestans) is one of the main obstacles to the development of potato culture in Burundi. In order to cope with this problem ISABU (Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Burundi), in collaboration with CIP (International Potato Center), initiated a program to fight against this disease using selection of resistant varieties and fungicides.
