Seed structure in the genus Bauhinia L. (fam. Fabaceae Lindl.) in the context of taxonomy

We studied seeds in 13 species of the genus Bauhinia L. They can be divided into two groups considerably differing in macro-, micro-, and ultrastructure. The data obtained should be used for the genus taxonomy.
