AUTHORIAL STANCE IN L2 ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENTAL TEXTS

The paper addresses the issue of authorial stance in L2 academic writing. It sheds new light L2 writing of Russian and international academics. Several corpora have been created for this research. Quantitative and qualitative results of the study provide information for the writing classes and highlights the issues that have been omitted by textbooks so far.
