Símbolos universales y etno-específicos en la obra de Gabriel García Márquez y sus encarnaciones léxicas

This article treats about dominant symbols in the Colombian world vision reflected in the literary universe created by Gabriel García Márquez. The specificity of the symbols are recognized in the best way by comparison with those of other nations. So to detect and clarify the ethniccultural specificity / universality of words-symbols we have used the methodology of comparative and cognitive analysis. Multiple mythical symbols abound in human verbal awareness in general and in Colombian one in particular having a huge creative potential.
