THE PROBLEM OF GROWING AND IMPORTING GM SOYBEANS IN RUSSIA

This article addresses the challenges of food security with soy. An example of the use of GM soybeans in countries and Russia is given. The possibility of import substitution of GMO soy products in order to ensure the food security of the country is being considered. The problem of importing soybean products from GM soybeans and the legislative ban on the cultivation of GM soybean in Russia are discussed.
