Intrauterine infection: Questions and answers

This paper discusses main issues concerning intrauterine infection development, such as present-day structure of pathogens, risk factors, including the underestimated impact of the human papillomavirus and male infections; diagnostics of intrauterine infection and its preventive measures. For the use in medical practice interferon-based medications (Grippferon, Herpferon, Vagiferon) for prevention and treatment of patients with viral and mixed viral and bacterial infections are presented.
