MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE AS A GREAT SOURCE OF ENERGY

This research attempts to analyze the main problem of municipal solid waste management in Russia. Based on global experience in the production of energy from waste, in Russia, together with international companies, energy from waste(EfW) processing plants are being created that will have to correct the current unfavorable situation with the disposal of solid municipal waste, at the same time energy will be generated that will fully cover the consumption of the plants themselves, and give the excess into the city's power grid.
