DUST POLLUTION FROM MINES IN THE NORTH CAUCASUS

The results of studies of dust pollution from mines in the North Caucasus are presented. Revealed periodic changes in the dustiness of the air in the surface layer of the atmosphere during the daylight hours. The quantitative ratio of the values of dust pollution in the quarries of the North Caucasus is given. Shown are changes in the dust content of the air, depending on the source material and ambient humidity.
