The article considers one of the diseases that occupy a leading place among modern medical and social health problems; this is an acute cerebrovascular accident. The article presents the results of a survey about public awareness of the ACA. The role and methods of prophylactic work of a bachelor's nurse to prevent the development of ACA are shown.
